Small Marble Top Gueridon Centre Table c.1860
Mid 19th.c. walnut and marble top gueridon centre table c.1860. 33" diameter, a little smaller than many we see. Well figured marble top with a slight raised lip at the edge over a walnut crossbanded apron. Raised on a turned and reeded baluster column on a tripod base. Legs carved with scrolling acanthus leaves and ball and claw feet, with brown pot castors below. Some scratches to the marble, minor surface wear and quite a few old woodworm holes (checked and filled) in the base. Generally very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
