Small Mahogany & Marble Top Console Table c.1840

Unusually small mid 19th.c. mahogany and marble top console table c.1840. Just 25" wide. Original black marble top with scores of tiny white fossils within the stone and rounded front corners. On a flame mahogany veneered base with a single oak lined drawer in the frieze. Curving front supports over shaped brackets with a carved detail at the front. On a concave shaped plinth, veneered to match and raised on carved claw feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
