Small Aesthetic Movement Bamboo Hat Stand c.1890

Neat little late 19th.c. Aesthetic Movement bamboo hat stand c.1890. Just 27″ wide. Five bamboo mallet shaped hooks for hats arranged around a diamond shaped mirror with a bevelled edge. Over a superb lacquered or 'Japanned' panel featuring an image of birds. With a stand for sticks and umbrellas below with a loose metal drip tray in the base. Some tarnish to the mirror, generally very good condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
