Six Country Hepplewhite Dining Chairs c.1800

Six late Georgian dining chairs in fruitwood and elm c.1800. The design is a country vernacular interpretation of a Hepplewhite chair, with a shaped top rail and pierced back splat. Over simple board seats raised on square legs joined with stretchers to the front, sides and rear. Two of the chairs (in elm) are of very slightly different design. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
