Set of Six 17th.c. Style Oak & Leather Dining Chairs c.1930

Set of six small oak and leather dining chairs c.1930. Four chairs plus two matching carvers with arms. A reproduction of a late 17th.c. Yorkshire chair with a distinctive backrest featuring ornate carved and shaped stretchers with turned droppers below and rounded tops to the rear stiles. Over padded and webbed seats (height 18") in the original brown leather upholstery with brass studs. Turned and block front legs (continuing as arm supports on the carvers) joined with stretchers to all four sides, attractive bobbin turned front stretchers. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
