Oval Mahogany Pedestal Dining Table c.1850

Superb quality mid 19th.c. mahogany pedestal dining or centre table c.1850. 57" x 44" oval top in solid mahogany with a moulded edge and a slim crossbanded apron below. On a bulbous turned column raised on four shaped legs with carved floral detail to the knees and scrolling papyrus leaf feet. Original brass castors. Top can be tipped to vertical when not in use, locking into place with the original brass catch. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
