Set of Four Limed Oak Dining Chairs by Heals c.1930

Set of four small limed oak dining chairs by heals of London c.1930. Solid oak frames with distinctive low backs with three curved rungs below the top rail. Removable seat pads freshly upholstered in a grey linen cloth. Simple moulded detail to the frame around the seat. Legs joined with H stretchers for strength. Note how the oak is 'limed' to emphasise the grain. Original Heal's Tottenham Court Rd label to the underside of the frame on all four chairs. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
