Serpentine Front Chest of Drawers

Good quality Chippendale style mahogany serpentine front chest of drawers c.1960. Caddy top with bookleaf flame mahogany veneers and a crossbanded and moulded edge. Over a brushing slide and four oak lined drawers of graduated height. Shaped drawer fronts with spectacular symmetrically arranged flame mahogany veneers, cockbeaded edges and brass swan neck handles. Flanked with Chinese Chippendale style blind fretwork carving to the canted front corners of the cabinet. With a moulded plinth raised on tall shaped bracket feet front and rear. Some surface wear to the top, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
