Sculpture of Two Alsatians by Louis Albert Carvin c.1925
Handsome Art Deco era spelter and marble sculpture by the celebrated French sculptor Louis Albert Carvin (1875-1951) c.1925. Two Alsatians, naturally posed, one standing and alert, the other reclining, very well cast in Spelter with a bronze painted finish. Mounted upon stepped plinth in sienna and dark green/black marble. Sign 'L Carvin' on each of the dog's collars. Excellent condition.
