Rosewood Coffee Table c.1860

Mid 19th.c. rosewood centre table c.1860, reduced in height to make a feature coffee table to suit a period interior. Oval top with strikingly figured rosewood veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern on solid mahogany groundwork. Deep moulded edge and a slim crossbanded apron below. On an octagonal section column with turned and carved collar, raised on carved and shaped legs in solid rosewood with scrolling feet. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
