Small Mahogany Gueridon Centre Table c.1830

Early 19th.c. French marble top gueridon centre table c.1830. A little smaller than many we see, just 32" diameter. Slim top in highly figured grey marble over a mahogany veneered apron. Raised on a broad tapering flame mahogany veneered column with a turned column over the tricorn plinth with the original wooden castors below. Marks and repairs to the marble which has been broken across the centre at sometime, though the repair is well hidden in the pattern of the stone. Otherwise very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
