Regency Mahogany Supper Table c.1820

Very elegant English Regency mahogany supper table c.1820. Oval table top, mahogany veneered with lovely crossbanded rosewood border and edge. Raised on a baluster column pedestal in solid mahogany with crisp turned and reeded decoration. Four shaped and reeded legs with unusual reeded barrels at the tops. Original brass castors with decorative detail to the toes. Table can be tipped to vertical when not in use, locking into place with the original brass catch. Some minor wear to the crossbanding on the edge. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
