Pair of Marble Top Side Cabinets c.1930

Pair of French marble top side cabinets c.1930. Original marble tops with a slightly curved fronts and moulded edges. Over a drawer and cupboard below, both with left hand opening doors and fitted inside with a single shelf (internal depth 10"). Highly figured burr elm veneers with inlaid satinwood crossbanding and ebony stringing. Marquetry inlay detail of flowers and urns to the doors and flanked with burr veneered columns with brass mounts top and bottom. Quarter veneered sides also with inlaid crossbanding. Raised on turned and tapering legs with brass mounts to the front feet. Some wear to the finish, otherwise very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
