Pair of Brass Temple Lions c.1900

Superb pair of Bhuddist temple Singha or guardian lions, probably Thai or Cambodian c.1900. Standing 11" tall cast in brass with snarling open mouths and elaborate decoration to the head and chest. Note the decoration to the rear of the mane and the bangles around the paws. Weight approx 2kg each. Presented as found, some obvious wear and corrosion around the legs of one lion.
