Olive Wood Veneered Bookshelves Side Cabinet c.1930

Early 20th.c. Italian olive wood veneered bookcase and side cabinet c.1930. Serpentine shaped with an open bookshelf with two shelves (depth 11½") flanked on both sides with cupboards fitted with a single shelf inside. Striking looking exterior veneered with irregularly shaped pieces of highly figured olive wood with walnut crossbanded edges and inlaid stringing. Shallow carved apron above each shelf. Moulded trim around the base, shaped and carved apron and legs front and rear. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
