Oak Drop Leaf Table c.1800

Lovely George III oak drop leaf dining table c.1800. Top made from two broad and beautifully figured oak boards, the main top being almost two feet wide. Both with cleated ends, note the unusual exposed tenon, to prevent them twisting. Over a useful drawer at both ends. Simple turned and block column legs plus a folding gate leg to support the hinged leaf. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
