Oak Bookcase with Desk c.1910

Rather unusual Edwardian oak secretaire bookcase and kneehole desk c.1910. Glazed two door bookcase top fitted with three adjustable shelves (internal depth 10"). Deep base with nine drawers arranged around a central kneehole with a small two door cupboard. The middle drawer features a writing desk which can be used flat or hinged to form a writing slope. Moulded cornice with a dentil frieze, leather trim to the shelf fronts and retaining the original copper plated brass handles with decorative pierced backplates. Raised on a moulded plinth. Solid oak sides and ash drawer linings. Keys supplied.
