Pretty little marble top bureau or secretaire abattant c.1930. useful narrow dimensions, just 27½" wide. Rouge marble top with a serpentine moulded edge. Over four oak lined drawers and a small writing bureau with a fitted interior. Symmetrically arranged rosewood veneers with superb inlaid floral marquetry detail across the front and sides. Decorative brass handles and escutcheon as well as mounts to the shoulders, apron and feet. Old marks to the writing surface, otherwise excellent condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
