Marble Top Console Table c.1860

Handsome mid 19th.c. mahogany and marble top console table c.1860. Thick grey marble top on a flame mahogany veneered base. Lockable oak lined drawer in the shaped frieze across the front. Over a mirror back panel flanked with shaped sides with large turned roundels on the inner and outer cheeks. Open display shelf raised on a tall stepped plinth with symmetrically arranged veneers to the front edge. Some minor wear to the surface of the marble and damage to the edges of the veneers on the plinth. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
