Louis XV Style Bombe Commode c.1930

Elegant French Louis XV style marble top commode c.1930. Original and highly figured marble top with a serpentine shaped and moulded edge. Over a shapely bombe chest of two large drawers. Walnut veneers arranged to make a quartered symmetrical pattern across the front and sides, with crossbanded edges. Large decorative brass handles and escutcheons. Large pierced mounts to the shoulders and at the centre of the apron below the drawers. Shaped legs, veneered to match and with brass mounts to the front feet. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
