Louis Philippe Walnut Side Cabinet c.1840

Unusual little French Louis Philippe era walnut and marble top side cabinet c.1840. Beautifully figured grey marble top with a rounded edge. Over a two door cabinet fitted with a single shelf inside (internal depth 18") and with a single drawer above. Minimal applied decoration focusses attention on the highly figured walnut timber used as a symmetrically arranged veneer on the drawer and door fronts and as solid boards (also symmetically arranged) on the sides. Moulded plinth raised on slim pads. Very good colour and condition, restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
