Large Walnut Combination Wardrobe & Linen Press c.1860

Superb large mid 19th.c. combination wardrobe and linen press in walnut c.1860. Inverse breakfronted with deeper full length cupboards to each side (internal depth 21″), fitted with hanging rails and useful drawers in the base. Centre section featuring a two door linen press with four sliding shelves (internal depth 18") over a chest of two short and two long drawers of graduated depth. A very handsome wardrobe, of elegant uncluttered design. A crisp moulded cornice over highly figured walnut curl door panels with raised mouldings. Matching drawer fronts with tuned knobs. Fine quality cabinet making with solid walnut groundwork and sides, and ash drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied for each door.
Splits into four sections plus cornice and plinth for delivery.
