Large Walnut Bookcase c.1890

Fine quality late 19th.c. library bookcase c.1890. Arts & crafts influenced design in solid walnut. Tall glazed two door top fitted with three adjustable shelves (depth 9½”), over a low waisted two door cupboard base with a baize lined reading slide. Crisp moulded cornice, projecting corners to the glazed panels within a raised and moulded surround. Decorative foliate carved door panels in the base, reeded uprights and unusual pierced brass hinges and backplates top and bottom. Raised on short turned feet front and rear. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
