Large Still Life Oil Painting

Good sized framed still life oil painting on canvas dated 1985. Traditional arrangement of a peasant hung over a table with a brace of partridge, a large ewer, coffee pot, apples and a bowl. Painted in thick oils in a loose and colourful modernist style. Signed A. Wouters in the lower right hand corner . Presented in the original deep moulded frame, also inscribed for the artist on the bottom edge. With a large inscription on the rear of the canvas and dated 1985. Excellent condition.
