Large Oak Chest of Drawers c.1900

Unusual oak chest of drawers c.1900. Probably originally for commercial or office use. Shallower top section (depth 14") with four smaller drawers around a large centre drawer, over a much deeper base with six larger drawers of graduated width and height. Very sturdy construction in solid oak, note the exposed dovetails at the sides of both the top and bottom sections and the solid oak drawer linings. Original steel swan neck handles. Quite unusually even the drawer in the base can be drawn out to almost their full length (25") without tipping. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Separates into two sections for delivery.
