George III mahogany fold over games table c.1800. Stands flat against the wall as a console or side table or open the hinged rear legs and fold open the top to make a square card table for four people with a green baize playing surface. Well figured flame mahogany veneered top with crossbanded edges and inlaid boxwood stringing continued on the apron. Raised on slim turned and tapering legs front and rear. Original brass hinges. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
