George III Mahogany Chest of Drawers c.1820

Elegant little George III mahogany chest of drawers c.1820. Useful small size, just 36" wide. Uncluttered design with clean lines, free of almost any applied decoration. Well figured mahogany veneered top with crossbanded edges over three drawers of graduated height. Cockbeaded drawer fronts with the original brass handles. Curving apron and slightly flared legs to the front and sides. Mahogany veneered sides. Oak drawer linings. Previous repairs to the top, otherwise very good condition with attractive mellow colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
