George III Mahogany Chest of Drawers c.1800

Very handsome George III mahogany chest of drawers c.1800. Well figured mahogany veneered top with a moulded edge and canted front corners. Over two short and three long drawers of graduated height. Mahogany veneered drawer fronts (on oak groundwork) with cockbeaded edges and the original gilded brass swan neck handles. Canted corners to the cabinet with fine reeded detail. Moulded trim around the base and raised on the original shapely bracket feet to the front and sides. Solid mahogany sides and oak drawer linings. Some marks to the top, otherwise excellent original condition and attractive mellow colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
