Faux Bamboo Wardrobe c.1890

Late 19th.c. French faux bamboo wardrobe c.1890. Single door wardrobe with original full length bevelled dressing mirror, fitted inside with three adjustable shelves (internal depth 14½"), over a single drawer in the base. In pine with extensive applied beechwood decoration, turned and carved to resemble bamboo. Decoration continues on the sides, note also the faux bamboo detail on the shelf fronts. An old repair to the bottom right hand corner of the door, otherwise very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
