Faux Bamboo Screen c.1890

Late 19th.c. aesthetic movement faux bamboo dressing screen c.1890. Four 22½" wide panels with hinged joints allowing it to be arranged and folded as required. Wooden frame turned and carved to resemble bamboo with decorative finials and spindles at the top. Fabric panels in vintage cloth on both sides printed with large flower heads. Presented as found, in very good condition with some marks and discolouration to the fabric.
