Chippendale Style Bureau Bookcase c.1920

Chippendale style mahogany bureau bookcase c.1920. Glazed bookcase top fitted with two shelves (internal depth 7"). Over a bureau desk with fitted interior and leather writing surface. Two drawers below the desk over a cupboard base with a single shelf inside. Topped with a fine (removable) carved and pierced swan neck pediment. Attractively arranged glazing bars to the bookcase doors, surrounded with Chippendale style blind fretwork repeated on the fall, drawers and cupboard doors. Raised on shaped bracket feet front and rear. Original brass handles, locks and latches etc. Old damage to the pediment and some minor wear. Generally very good colour and condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
