Chinese Dinner Gong with Stand Carved as a Bat c.1920

Early 20th.c. Chinese dinner gong and stand c.1920. 13½" bronze gong with patterned front. Hung on a splendid Chinese hardwood stand. Caved with a fabulous bat (symbol of good luck and happiness) above the gong, plus cloud, water and floral detail. Joined with a carved and pierced stretcher. Sold together with a large clapper. Excellent condition with very good tone and sustain to the gong. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
