Carved Walnut & Marble Top Console Table c.1930

Good looking carved walnut and marble top console or hall table c.1930. Spectacular top in deep red marble with pale figuring. With a serpentine shaped and moulded edge and projecting front corners. Shapely walnut base with a pierced apron to the front and sides and extensive carved detail. Two legs swept back towards the wall and joined with a shaped stretcher with pierced acanthus carved centre. Fixing holes at the rear to secure the table to the wall. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
