Carved Oak Console Table c.1900

Elegant and unusual carved oak console or hall table c.1900. Solid oak top with carved and moulded edges over an apron with supporting corbels and a carved frieze of repeated plant forms to the front and sides. Raised on square tapering legs, also carved, and joined with unusually arranged matching stretchers to all four sides and repeated in the centre. Some old wear to the top, generally excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
