Canework Peacock Chair c.1960

Large ‘Peacock’ canework armchair, a classic of late 1960’s and early 1970’s interior design. A fine example, the tall curving backrest with a peacock tail detail at the centre. S shaped arms with elaborate knotted surface, twisted circular base. Original loose seat cushion with unusual scalloped edge. Presented as found in very good original condition.
