Camphorwood Campaign Chest c.1880

Late 19th.c. camphorwood campaign chest c.1880. Made from particularly well figured solid camphorwood boards, a fragrant and pest resistant timber designed to protect the contents during passage, reinforced with brass bindings. Original flush fitting brass handles to the lid and large brass carry handles to the sides. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
