Camphorwood Campaign Chest c.1880
Late 19th.c. camphorwood campaign chest c.1880. Solid camphorwood boards, a fragrant and pest resistant timber designed to protect the contents during passage, reinforced with brass bindings. Original brass plaque to the lid nicely engraved with the initials PR. With flush fitting brass handle to the lid and iron carry handles to the sides. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
