Burr Walnut & Marble Top Commode c.1860

Superb French burr walnut and marble top chest of drawers or commode c.1860. Original grey marble top with a moulded edge over four long drawers plus a fifth drawer hidden in the plinth. Particularly well figured burr walnut veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern across the front. Shallow top drawer with shaped front (continued on the sides of the cabinet) and dividers, the three deeper drawers within a moulded surround. Walnut veneered sides and oak drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
