Brass Magazine Stand c.1890
Unusual late 19th.c. brass magazine stand by Samuel Heath & Sons of Birmingham c.1890. Two shelves to hold and display magazines, sheep music etc. On a tapering A frame in tubular brass with curling finial tops, a turned and twisted stretcher and a very fine pierced panel with Gothic trellis and plant detail. Supported on a single folding leg at the rear. Shaped feet to each leg. Stamped SH&S on one the feet. A little twisted out of shape at the front. Generally very good original condition.
