Blonde Cherrywood Dresser Base c.1830

Early 19th.c. French dresser base in pale cherry wood c.1830. Top with cleated sides and front edge over two drawers and a large two door cupboard fitted with a single shelf inside (depth 20"). Crisp moulded edge to the drawer and door fronts. Attractively shaped door panels and an unusual architectural detail of fluted columns at the centre. Original brass drawer knobs, long decorative escutcheon plates and hinges. Shaped and carved apron and feet. Panelled sides and rear. Excellent condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Original key supplied.
