Aesthetic Movement Side Table c.1880
Unusual little late 19th.c. mahogany side table c.1880. Of aesthetic movement or arts and crafts inspired design reminiscent of the work of Edward Godwin. Overhanging 22" square top on turned legs joined with a smaller stretcher shelf below with a raised gallery on turned spindles. Pierced brackets below the lower shelf and tuned feet with the original brown ceramic castors. In solid mahogany throughout. With a slight shadow to the top, otherwise excellent original colour and condition, simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
