Long Chinese Altar Table c.1880

Superb 19th.c. Chinese altar table c.1880. Traditional construction in various timbers. 77" long, the top with raised ends and frame in oak. Over a shaped apron in cypress wood with beautiful relief carved pattern detail. Straight legs joined with double stretchers also framing a simple pierced panel. Some earlier repairs and restorations. Good condition with a particularly good colour and antique character. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
