French Amboyna & Gilt Dressing Table c.1930

Unusual French Art Deco era amboyna and gilt mounted dressing table c.1930. Original 18" x 28" oval mirror with a bevelled edge within a gilded brass frame. Angle adjustable on a curved stand and flanked with a pair of superb quality gilded brass candle sconces. Table top with rounded ends (height 31½") with a single drawer below with original brass knobs. Highly figured amboyna wood veneers across the mirror stand, the table top, front and sides, with inlaid crossbanded and strung borders and mahogany crossbanded edges. Raised on turned and tapering mahogany legs with neat little brass mounts to the feet front and rear. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
