Large 17th.c. Style Oak Refectory Table c.1890

Impressively large 17th.c. style oak refectory dining table c.1890. 90" x 38" top made from inch thick oak boards with cleated ends. Shallow apron with a carved moulding around the bottom edge. Raised on massive cup and cover baluster legs with elaborate carved decoration including cattle heads and Tudor roses. Minimum space between the legs 73", knee height below the apron 24½". Joined with floor level stretchers at the ends and centre. Good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
