Eight Welsh Oak Cottage Dining Chairs c.1820

Good harlequin set of eight Welsh oak cottage dining chairs c.1820. Some very slight variation in design but all with a slightly curved and flared top rail and three reeded slats. Over board seats (seat height 17½"), all tapering toward the rear. On tapering square front legs and curved rear stiles, joined with straight stretchers at each side. Very good condition, solid and sturdy, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
