Georgian Mahogany Floor Standing Corner Cupboard c.1780
George III mahogany corner cupboard c.1780, later adapted into a useful floor standing cupboard. Arch-top doors opening to reveal three shaped shelves (max internal depth 16") over three small drawers in the base. Flat polished top and a moulded cornice over a mahogany veneered frieze with unusual saw tooth inlaid detail. Solid mahogany doors with raised and fielded panels, original brass escutcheons and H hinges. Raised on short shaped bracket feet at the front. Very good condition with particularly good colour and patina. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
