Pair of Walnut & Marble Top Bedside Cabinets c.1880

Pair of late 19th.c. French walnut and marble top bedside cabinets c.1880. Original rouge griotte marble tops with serpentine edges. Over left hand opening cupboards with the original marble lined interiors (depth 9"). Serpentine fronts with walnut quarter veneered panels, repeated as flat panels on the cabinet sides and rear. Shaped and moulded apron all round and raised on cabriole legs, all with carved acanthus detail to the knees and feet. Some minor wear to the marble, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
