Walnut & Marble Top Side Cabinet c.1910

Very smart walnut and marble top side cabinet c.1910. Strikingly figured marble top set within a moulded edge. Over two drawers and a two door cupboard fitted with a single shelf inside (internal depth 13½"). Unusual high-waisted form with curving drawer fronts with laurel wreath handles flanked with carved acanthus detail and curving sides at the level of the drawers. Moulded door panels with a carved floral detail and decorative gilded escutcheons. Solid walnut sides, moulded frame and plinth with carved detail at the corners. Raised on short turned and fluted legs front and rear. Oak drawer linings and back panels. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
