Gothic Revival Oak Bookcase c.1910

Gothic Revival oak bookcase c.1910. Two door glazed bookcase top fitted inside with three adjustable shelves (internal depth 8¼"). Over a deeper cupboard base with two doors, fitted with a single shelf inside (depth 10½"). Superb crenelated cornice with carved detail over a quatrefoil pierced tracery frieze. Beautifully carved linen fold panels to the lower doors. Gothic carved and chamfered detail to the horizontal and vertical members of the carcass and doors. Oak panelled sides. Old marks the the top of the base where the doors were rubbing slightly (now cured). Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
