Liberty & Co. Japanese Side Tables c.1910

Two little Japanese carved wooden side tables as retailed by Liberty & Co. of London c.1910. 17" and 11" diameter tops carved with a pattern of water lilies and chrysanthemum flowers. Raised on shaped tripod legs, also carved and joined with a smaller stretcher shelf carved to match the top. Very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
These tables were featured in the Liberty Yuletide gifts catalogues as illustrated on page 29 of Liberty's Furniture 1875-1915 The Birth of Modern Interior Design by Daryl Bennet.
